COVID19 - Doing Our Part
At The Jeweled Turret Inn, health and safety of our guests has always been our first priority. We want to assure all of our guests that we are taking proactive measures to prevent the spread of the virus and accommodate ever-changing guest needs during this time.
MAY 15 AND BEYOND
Per the governor of the State of Maine, the order of closure will be lifted by May 15th or possibly sooner. We are committed to complying with the governor’s orders, but are taking advanced reservations for all types of travel for after May 15.
However, our carriage house suite, “Tree Top Haven,” is a self-contained separate apartment that can be rented currently with four nights or more reservations, as a “self” check-in unit.
We are paying special attention to all details for your safety – extra cleaning precautions include disinfecting door knobs, light switches, and all commonly used surfaces, multiple times a day.
While this has always been done, we have increased our standards requiring cleaning staff to wear gloves, and “masks” while cleaning inside guest rooms, following CDC guidelines.
For a limited time we are offering breakfast served to your room as a replacement option, if you feel uncomfortable eating in our common dining room. Also, we are happy to take $10 off room rates for those who wish to skip breakfast, if requested in advance.
Think of The Jeweled Turret Inn, and our small town of Belfast, as a great place to de-stress. Relax, walk the shore path, parks, and beach after the quarantine restrictions are lifted!
Thank you for your support and loyalty! We look forward to seeing you and making your trip to coastal Maine a memorable one.
Cathy & Carl
PS: We have kept our rates the same, yet another year, during this difficult time – we’re all going through this together!
